Why custom

Most small-business sites are the same six templates.

You've seen them. Same hero photo, same three icons, same stock smiling handshake. It works — until your customer visits the shop down the road and sees the exact same site with different colors. Here's the honest comparison.

The template route

Wix · Squarespace · theme shops

  • Your site looks like a thousand others running the same theme.
  • $30–$80 every month, forever — and it stops working the day you stop paying.
  • Slow, heavy pages loaded with features you'll never use.
  • "Customizable" means picking from six preset color schemes.
  • Need one small change? Open a support ticket, or figure it out yourself.

Tipton Web Design

  • Designed around your business — nobody else has this layout.
  • Pay once. You own the site and the files, permanently.
  • Loads in about a second, because there's nothing extra in it.
  • If you can describe it, I can build it. No "the theme won't do that."
  • Need a change? Call me. I live twelve minutes away.

What you get

Everything a small business actually needs. Nothing it doesn't.

A website is only worth what it brings in the door. Every project includes the pieces that actually do that work.

01

A design that's yours

Built from a blank page. Your colors, your photos, your voice — laid out to fit how your business actually works, not how a theme assumed it would.

02

Perfect on a phone

Most people will find you on a phone in a parking lot. Every page is designed for that first, then scaled up to desktop — not the other way around.

03

Findable on Google

Clean, fast pages with proper titles, descriptions and local business markup, plus help getting your Google Business profile set up right.

04

Church & ministry sites

Service times, staff pages, sermon audio, event calendars, giving links, missionary pages. I build these for churches already, and I know the questions to ask.

05

Domain & hosting handled

I'll get your domain pointed, your SSL certificate working and your site hosted — set up in your name, on accounts you control, for a few dollars a month or less.

06

Changes when you need them

New hours, a new staff member, a price update. Send me a message and it's done — usually the same week, and small edits are free for your whole first year.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

You'll see the real design before you pay the balance, and you'll know the full price before I start.

1

We talk

Twenty minutes, in person or on the phone. What you do, who you serve, what the site needs to accomplish. Free, and there's no pitch at the end.

2

I design it

You get a quote and a timeline, then I build a real working version of the home page — not a sketch. Half down to start.

3

You change it

Move it, recolor it, rewrite it. We go back and forth until it's actually right. This is the part templates can't do.

4

We launch

It goes live on your domain, I show you how everything works, and small changes stay free for your first full year.

Pricing

Honest numbers, published up front.

Most web shops make you sit through a sales call before they'll tell you a price. Here's mine.

What it costs to keep it running

Nothing to me. No retainer, no maintenance plan, no license.

You'll pay your domain registrar roughly $12–$20 a year for the name itself, and hosting runs $0–$5 a month on the setup I use. Both accounts are in your name, on your card, and you can walk away from me at any time and take the site with you.

Bigger projects

Online stores, member logins, booking systems, custom tools built for how you work — all doable, quoted after we talk. I've built database-driven systems, not just brochure sites.

Churches, ministries and nonprofits

I do this work for my own church and school, and I keep rates lower for other ministries. If the budget is tight, tell me the number you have and let's see what we can do.

Who you'd be working with

I'm Aaron. I live here.

I'm not an agency in another state and I'm not a call center. I teach at a Christian school in Malvern, I run the sound and media for my church, and along the way I started building the websites those places needed — because the template services couldn't do what we actually wanted, and the agencies wanted more than we could spend.

It turns out a lot of businesses around here are in exactly the same spot: a site that looks like everyone else's and costs $50 a month, or nothing at all. I'd rather build you the real thing, once, at a price that makes sense for a business in Hot Spring County.

When you call, you get me. When something breaks, you get me. That's the whole company.

Questions

The things people ask first.

How long does a site take?

Most projects are live in two to four weeks. The part that usually takes longest is getting photos and text from you — if you have those ready, it moves fast.

Do I really own it?

Yes. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, and I'll hand over every file. If you ever want to move to someone else, nothing stops you. That's not true of most subscription site builders.

I already have a website. Can you fix it instead?

Sometimes. If it's on a platform I can work in, I'll tell you honestly whether a rebuild or a repair makes more sense for your money. If a repair is the better deal, I'll say so.

What if I don't have photos or know what to write?

Most people don't, and that's normal. I'll write a first draft of the text based on our conversation, and I can point you to what photos will make the biggest difference — often just a good phone camera and decent light.

What happens when I need something changed later?

Message me. New hours, a new staff photo, a seasonal promotion — small changes are free for your first full year and usually done within a few days. After that they're billed at a small hourly rate, and bigger additions always get a flat quote before I touch anything.

Do you work outside Malvern?

Yes — Hot Springs, Benton, Bryant, Arkadelphia, Little Rock and anywhere in central Arkansas. I like meeting in person when I can, but I've built sites for people on another continent, so distance isn't a problem.

Why is this cheaper than the agencies?

Because there's no office, no sales team and no account manager marking up my work. You're paying for the site, not the overhead.
